Out of the Gate!


So, my first blog and I am not sure what exactly to write about. However, it's clear to me that one of my goals is to live healthier, and my attempts to do that are quietly sabbotaged just when I think I'm on a roll. SO, I thought creating this blog would open my thought process, keep me accountable and able to reflect on the things that work... and don't work! I believe that I can get myself in shape (YIKES! - I am turning 40 this Fall) and create a healthier lifestyle without joining a trendy gym, using a personal trainer, and spending additional money on equipment/special foods. And so my user name is "FreeBod." :-)


So here goes! We'll figure out if this can work together! I plan to document this journey as frequently as I can. Here's my FreeBod now...it's true I'm not brave enough yet to reveal my true identity so my daughter has taken this photo as I requested - "Make sure no one can see it's me!" After 3 weeks to date, I haven't lost any lbs. but I am seeing a spike in energy, and some definition overall. The ratings below top out at 5*'s, meaning I'm feeling good about it.

worked out today 27 minutes, Jillian Michaels Metabolism Boost on exerciseTV ( for free, must have Comcast) COULD NOT GET THROUGH 1/2 OF THIS WORKOUT! WIll try again tomorrow.


no overeating (yet), made a veg soup for the week when the munchies hit.
